POLAR BEAR SPLASH to Benefit Autism Speaks and AHRC Suffolk

Autism Speaks Long Island and AHRC Suffolk will host their first Polar Bear Splash on Saturday, March 3rd at the Bay Shore Marina, South Clinton Street, Bay Shore. Polar Bear Splash registration will start at 8:30 am and the splash will begin at 10:00 am sharp. Registration is $20.00 and all ages are welcome. Ages twelve and under are free and students can receive community service hours! Come out, splash and help make a difference in the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Autism Speaks is the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

AHRC Suffolk is a not-for-profit organization which provides a lifetime of therapeutic programs and services to children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Currently more than 2,500 educational, vocational, residential and respite services are provided through AHRC’s thirty-eight facilities.
