Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper – Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM 

Daily Cash Bookkeeper reports and records cash, prepares daily deposits, and reconciles various bank accounts. Individual will be responsible for the Agency’s Grant Accounts Payables, General Ledger Coding, inputting invoices into the payable system, writing checks and posting to customer accounts and assisting with the other Agency accounts as required. Clerk/Bookkeeper will also share the responsibility of generating the stipend payroll for 3 locations with another payroll clerk.

High school diploma with up to two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is required for this entry level position. Must be PC proficient and have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is required. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, as well as have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

Medicaid Service Coordinator - Monday-Friday = 35 hrs.

This position entails handling a caseload of 30+ people with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include writing, coordinating, and monitoring Individual Service Plans; advocating for and assuring linkages with community support services that are consistent with an individual's needs and wants; Must have knowledge of social service, medical, and educational resources in Suffolk County. Site visits are required.

Bachelors Degree in a Health or Human Service Field and one year experience working with people with a developmental disability or a case management position with another population, or MSW, or Masters Degree in Psychology or Human Service Field.

Foundation Office (Bohemia) - Data Base Manager, M-F 8:30am-4:30pm

Manage the daily operation of the database (Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge), which tracks gifts/financial, and other profile information on corporate, foundation, individual and government supporters and prospects; daily gift entry and generate timely acknowledgement letters and tax receipts for all donations; create mailing lists for multiple mail appeals including membership drive, invitations to cultivation events and special fund raising benefits with parameters specified by development team.

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience); 3+ years applicable development and event support; superior knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience in research using multiple on-line sources.


1:1 Teacher Aide - Bohemia, NY, M-F, 8:15 AM - 2:45 PM

Attends to the physical needs of the children; required to carry, transfer and position students as needed for feeding, toileting, diaper changing and positioning in adaptive equipment which entails bending.

Graduate of an accredited high school GED, knowledge of general health, safety and sanitation policies; ability to work effectively and cooperatively


Driver – Work Activities (Bohemia), Per Diem

Under direct supervision of the Workshop Supervisor/Production Supervisor, an employee in this class primarily operates a truck for the purpose of pick-up or delivery of various production or program materials. Use of a van or car could also be required for various assignments.  Assists in warehouse operations and provides supervision and instruction to program individuals we support as needed.

A High School Diploma or GED; Readiness to learn and utilize relevant agency computer applications; Candidate must possess a valid New York State Driver's License at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.  If the employee is to drive an Agency vehicle or his/her own vehicle on Agency business, he/she must adhere to the Agency Fleet Safety Driver's Policy/Procedures.

Community Integration Specialist - (Lakeland, Knick, Bohemia) M-F, 8am -3:30pm. 

Responsible for developing and supporting participants to attain their chosen outcomes and planned activities. An employee in this position will be called upon to drive the program van on a regular basis as part of community activities. The ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, organized and flexible.

Instruct developmentally disabled individuals residing in a group home in Activities of Daily Living; Specific skills include personal hygiene and grooming, banking/budgeting, travel, household tasks, cooking, nutrition, laundry, and decision making.  Additional duties may include planning and implementing recreational activities and administering medications.


House Manager – Shoreham ICF (Flexible Schedule) = 40 hrs

Directs the staff and services of a particular living unit; maintains a home-like environment; performs related work as requested, Participates in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct care staff, maintains accurate accounts of individuals we support’ account ledgers and personal accounts, prepares reports and other informational materials as needed, communicates to nurse, clinical staff.

A High School Diploma or GED; knowledge of MediSked Software a plus, and a minimum of two years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals within an OPWDD certified setting.  

Part Time RN Charge – Shoreham, NY, Saturday- Sunday 7:00AM – 5:30PM = 20 hrs. Bi-weekly

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting RN supervisors with on-site supervision of the weekend ICF staff nurses to assure all medical/nursing needs are addressed, availability to assess medical problems and advise on appropriate action, medication administration, in-service training in the area of nursing and health related issues.

Candidate must possess a current, valid NYS Registered Nursing License and a minimum of 2 years nursing experience. Experience with Developmentally/Intellectually Disabled population preferred.

Assistant House Manager – Westhampton ICF = 32 hours (benefits)

Under the supervision of the House Manager, an employee of this class is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ICF and for ensuring continuous active treatment; Participates in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct care staff; Maintains accurate accounts of individuals’ account ledgers and personal accounts.
